I know how busy you are, but I also know you still take time to look at new business opportunities. I think we have enough material with this mortgage program, that it may finally peek your interest as well.
Since I've last approached you about this, we've filed the patent for the product and the paper work for a company. We have raise some general interest and now have the support of a small credit union to try our program out. Its been approved and enthusiastically supported by the CEO, the regional VP, the company attorney and so now waiting to try a couple test runs before taking it to the board-hopefully completed by spring or so.
The best news maybe that the credit unions accounting firm has also approved of our method as being both original and meeting all the legal and accounting requirements of the credit union. I'm looking to get a letter from that accounting firm stating this. It will provide us with a great deal of creditability.
We will be following this up with a meeting with an accountant for banking. (Banking has different requirements then Credit Unions.) If they approve, the credit union CEO will begin approaching his banking contacts.
We now have a formal package with a little history to review. Its simple, far reaching and timely. Would love to have your thoughts on it. As I mentioned before, we don't really need money so much as some legal counsel and access to top players. Given the state of the market, most banks will be very interest once they have finally seen it. Just need to get past the secretaries. lol
The contacts that were moving forward with this had their meetings canceled with the financial melt down. Entire institutions are gone what to speak of people. The shell shock of this has left my contacts backing off til things blow over. Its probably going to take them a couple more months to pick up their momentum again. Having some additional interest and activity coming from another source will dramatically add to the momentum.
I'm including 4 attachments. Best if you read them in order. The first is the Business Plan Part 1: Product. Its only a few pages and an easy read. The second is Business Plan: Part 2: The Market. The third is the patent application. The forth is the company paper work. (hmm, can't seem to locate it so can send it later) Look them over. This will provide you with a clearer overview of the project and opportunities.
.... thank you again for your time and support all these years. Congrads on finally getting the company. Hope its working out for the better.
